Borehole Donations
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 in 3 people (2.2 billion) globally do not have access to safe drinking water. Africa accounts for over 40% of this statistic. Lack of clean water is one of the most important reasons for poverty in Africa. Children and adults (mostly ladies) often have to walk kilometres to access water, spending hours and carrying heavy containers in the process.
Please help us make a difference in reducing down these statistics. To date, our organization has installed 12 boreholes in remote villages in Africa.
During dawah trips to Africa in the last decade, a number of village chiefs requested us to install boreholes in their villages. Not only did villagers have to walk for kilometres to access water, often the water source was not even clean enough to drink. In addition to boreholes, we erected masjids in a number of villages.
